Kadlec Forms Group to Cope with the Loss of a Baby A new support group is being launched in the Tri-Cities to help families cope with the loss of a baby. Staff members of the Kadlec Birth Center are organizing the group to help families deal with the grieving process following a loss of an infant. The support group will meet monthly, the first class will be held on November fifth at Kadlec Medical Center. Local Housing Issues Briefing a Success

The Second Annual Mason County Association of REALTORS® Housing Issues Briefing was held July 19th in Shelton. Over 40 invited guests attended including elected officials from county, city and state government as well as local planning and public works staff, representatives from area chambers, the Economic Development Council and other key organizations.

Guests received an updated housing market report including results of a recent MCAR survey of buyers and sellers. There was a lively presentation by Bill Kreager of Mithun Architects showing compact developments that provide affordable and attractive home choices. Local housing issues briefings are also scheduled in Clark, Whatcom and the North Puget Sound Associations this fall.
